Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• Account details — the name and email you use to register or sign in.
• Purchase records — course purchased, amount, currency, date, and the access code issued to you.
• Payment information — payment is processed by Paystack. We never see or store your card number, CVV, or bank account details. Paystack may return a payment reference and status, which we store for record-keeping.
• Support conversations — messages you send via our chat widget, WhatsApp, or email.
• Preferences — the display currency you choose, stored locally in your browser (not on our servers).
• Optional Google sign-in — only your email address from Google; we never receive your Google password.

3. How we use it

• Create and secure your account, and give you access to the courses you've paid for.
• Issue, verify, and manage your personal access codes and certificates.
• Process and confirm payments (via Paystack / Supabase).
• Provide support and answer your questions.
• Maintain and improve the platform and keep it secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show behavior-based ads. We do not use your data to market third-party products to you.

4. Who we share it with (and why)

• Supabase — our backend database and authentication provider (stores your account and purchase records securely).
• Paystack — payment processing. They are PCI-DSS compliant and handle all card data; we only receive confirmation of the result.
• Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google" (see section 2).
• Vercel / hosting providers — serve the website files you request.
• Legal obligation — if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account and purchase records for as long as your account exists (needed to prove your entitlement to course access and certificates). Support messages are kept for a reasonable period to answer follow-ups. You may ask us to delete your data at any time (section 7).

6. Security

Passwords are stored by Supabase as irreversible hashes — nobody, including us, can read them. All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Payments are handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors. We restrict internal access to personal data to only those who need it.

7. Your rights

• Access and correct your information at any time.
• Delete your account and personal data (course certificates may be revoked on deletion, as they can't be issued anonymously).
• Opt out of non-essential communications anytime.

8. Children

Our courses are intended for learners generally. If you are under the age of 16, please use the platform with a parent or guardian's involvement and permission. We do not knowingly collect data from children without such permission.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the site.
